Offroad Marshal Training – Rhino Park on 25 Feb 2023
Our yearly Offroad Marshal training day took place on the 25th of February at Rhino Park. This well-known venue was the perfect location for the training which proved to be an utterly successful day.
The training was conducted by Hannes van Rensburg who shared his knowledge and expertise with all the marshals. The interactive way the training was conducted provided valuable insights into the importance of marshaling and how to handle different situations that may arise during an offroad event. Great emphasis was placed on the relevant motorsport body rules and the importance of keeping to these rules.
The marshals were impressed with the facilities and the organization of the training. They felt that the training was well-structured and comprehensive, covering all aspects of marshaling. The simulated race route exercise and setting up of a marshal points were highlights of the training, providing a practical application of the knowledge gained.
After the training, everyone enjoyed a nice braai and socialized, reflecting on the day’s events. The training at Rhino Park was a great success, and the marshals left with increased confidence and a greater understanding of the importance of marshaling in off-road events.
