The weekend of 15–17 August saw the Outdoor and Adventure Expo take place in Broederstroom, and the marshals were proud to be part of the action. On Saturday, the team assisted with the offroad obstacle course, guiding drivers and keeping the course running smoothly.

Experienced drivers showed everyone how it’s done, while plenty of newcomers joined in to discover what their vehicles were capable of. The marshals walked the course alongside participants, offering advice and hand signals to help them navigate the obstacles. A few vehicles needed some recovery work after getting stuck in the mud pit or even halfway up a hill, adding to the excitement of the day. Despite the tricky terrain, every marshal gave their best, keeping things safe, fun, and well-organized for all involved. Your commitment made the whole experience a success.

The experience was a valuable one for both marshals and participants, with everyone learning something new on the course. Beyond the obstacles, the weekend atmosphere was just as memorable – camping together under the tall trees, and spending the evenings around a big bonfire, sharing laughs and stories late into the night.
